​​Program synopsis
​
​The main aim of Master of Science (Population Health & Preventive Medicine) is to produce a competent and qualified Public Health Scientist who can work effectively and efficiently in any health-related environment and to produce graduates who will be able to utilize the knowledge gained into the social, cultural, ethical, environment and economic issues for planning and implementing tasks.

The programme is a course work program and candidates are expected to be responsible for their own learning. A component of research activity is included in the research methodology module. Candidate need to prepare the research proposal and present to the panel of examiners.

​Duration of study​
​
ONE and HALF (1.5) years (3 semesters). The maximum duration allowed shall not be more than TWENTY (24) months to complete the whole course of. Candidates are only allowed to repeat either semester 1 or 2.
​
Entry requirements
​
1. Possess a recognized Sciences / Health Sciences degree (or equivalent degree) who have working in Health and Health related field.
2. At least 2 years of working experience in the health related area.
3. Candidates must be fluent in English both oral and written.
