The Rural Health Posting is part of community based program with aim of training the students to become competent medical and health officer when working at health clinic later on. Total duration of the posting is 4 weeks. Student will be posted to two districts i.e. Hilir Perak, Perak and Sabak Bernam, Selangor.​

This component serves to introduce the students to the set up of the rural health services at district level. Student will also experience the activities in the prevention and control of diseases.

​

They will also gain knowledge on social, cultural and environmental factors that affect patients in the rural areas.​



The students will be residing at Teluk Intan campus during this posting.
