Introduction

This program was approved  in 2013 and is open to candidates who which to venture in the field of Public Health.

 

Program Synopsis

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Epidemiology and Public Health required the candidates to produce a thesis based on any recognised field of Epidemiology and Public Health at the end of the study period. The research areas identified must be from one of the following identified disciplines of Epidemiology and Public Health as stated below :

Duration of Study

The minimum duration of study shall be THREE (3) years (Six semesters) and the maximum duration of study shall be not be more than SEVEN (7) years. This study maybe carried out full time or part time.

 

Entry Requirements

Candidates who wish to pursue for this course is expected to fulfill the following requirementsPossess a recognized Masters in Science (Public Health), (MSc.(Public Health) or equivalent with CGPA of at least 3.0) Had at least 2 years of working experience in the health and health related areas.Candidates must be fluent in English both oral and written. (TESL)
